Falcon's Lair Resort* is a small family resort with 5 modern 2 and 3 bedroom cottages. A mile off the beaten path, right on the lake, you will enjoy the tranquil setting of our fully equipped, spotlessly clean cottages and grounds. With nature at your doorstep you will see and hear many birds including the haunting call of the loon, and you could see chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, partridge, deer, and on occasion moose or bear.
But only 15 minutes away, you will find all the conveniences of town (select "Area" page for more information).
Our resort is open multiple seasons:
- spring is good for bird watching and fishing
- summer is popular for family gatherings, boating, fishing, swimming
- fall is a photographer's dream and painters delight, with the vibrant colors of autumn
Falcon's Lair is a family setting resort providing a variety of recreational opportunities:
- badminton, volleyball, croquet
, bocci ball, children's playground, horseshoe pits, fire pits (wood provided), various books and games, paddle boats, swimming (from shore/rocks/docks, NO BEACH), water slide, high diving board, boating (boat rental or private boat dockage), fishing, common deck area for sunbathing/socializing at the central dock
Our resort also offers:
- friendly hospitality, relaxing atmosphere
- public boat launch (beside resort), multiple docks, boat and motor rental, gasoline and oil, fish cleaning house, fishing licences, worms
- ice cubes & blocks, bottled water, pop, ice cream
PET POLICY
As we have two dogs of our own, we understand that most people would like to vacation with their pet(s). We are pleased to welcome your "WELL-BEHAVED AND FRIENDLY" pet to Falcon's Lair.
We understand that not everyone is a pet owner or pet lover. Therefore we ask that you please abide by our "Pet Policy".
- please do not let your pet run loose on the property
- if your pet is used to sleeping on something, please bring their bed (pets are not allowed on any furniture or beds)
- we provide shovels at every cottage and around the camp for easy "poop and scoop"
- pets are NEVER to be left unattended in the cottages or on the screened porches unless they are in a secure cage.
- pets are NOT to be tied outside - continuously barking
ANY AND ALL DAMAGES TO COTTAGES, PROPERTY, OR EQUIPMENT ARE THE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RENTER.
